An unexpected pleasant discovery of an old Chinese Temple which has become one of the major attractions in Raub, Pahang - Bentong Trip Part 3

After, Chamang Waterfalls, we were actually planning to explore Raub town and to look for durians. (Yeah, it was durian season!!!!!) However, on the way from Bentong to Raub, we chanced upon a Chinese temple by the main road of Jalan Tras (Tras Road).
This is the signage at the entrance of the Guan Yin Tang 观音堂 - ww.TrasRoadChineseTemple.com
The temple is just beside the main road of Jalan Tras and if you are driving, it's about 20 minutes drive from Bentong.  The location is very strategic and you won't miss this big temple as you passed by.
We were told that it is a very old temple of about 100 years old and has now become one of the major tourist attractions in Raub.
12 Chinese Zodiacs  facing 19 Arhats.  We were told that they were imported all the way from China.
The Monkey King, also known as Sun Wu Kong, is a Chinese mythological figure who features in a body of legends, which can be traced back to the period of the Song dynasty.
Fuk Luk Sau, the three wise men.  Fu represents good luck and harmony; Lu stands for authority, power and wealth; Sau signifies good health and longevity. These three gods are the popular deities of wealth, Prosperity and Longevity.
Guanyin (觀音) - Guanyin is an East Asian bodhisattva associated with compassion as venerated by Mahayana Buddhists. She is commonly known as the "Goddess of Mercy" in English.
